When should I arrive for worship?

Answer

Our worship service at VUMC is at 10am. If it’s your first time, you may want to come ten or 15 minutes early to look around, find a place to sit, and – if you have an infant/toddler – locate the nursery, if you desire. Our main parking lot is behind the church building, with an overflow parking lot available across Church St., between the church and Burger King.

What does VUMC have for my family?

You'll find groups, classes, programs, and activities for the entire family. We have a great youth ministry, classes and special events for children; and Sunday School, small groups, and mission opportunities for adults.

I’ve come to a Sunday service. Now what?

Answer

Visiting a Sunday School class is a great way to meet people at our church. It’s also a good idea to speak with Pastor Sean about your interests and needs, and any questions you may have about our beliefs and what it means to be a Christian. He can offer suggestions on ways you can connect with VUMC.
